Neon Genesis Evangelion is a great anime series. With an intriguing plot and in-depth character analysis and a very deep
background this is truely the anime to watch. It's combination of humour, action and
mystery is what draws people to the show. The show basically centers about a few certain
14-year olds that can pilot Mecha or Robots called Evas and how they interact with each other. All of the
characters in the story have secrets, secrets that will be unveiled one at a time allowing
you to slowly piece together what has happened. And learn a bit more about what drives each individual.

There are 26 episodes from the television version that was aired in Japan and there are two movies, Death and Rebirth
and End of Evangelion that were made after fans were unhappy with the way the
last two TV episodes turned out. It does seem like Gainax ran into some budgeting problems. I have seen Death and Rebirth with the first
part (Death) being a recap of the television episodes but focuses on the events
specific to characters character by character thus you are able to see how the characters
have developed, and Rebirth being the first part of End of Evangelion. I
wouldn't suggest spending good money on Death and Rebirth considering that there
isn't much new footage in Death. Then there is also Death(True) which is the
director's cut of Death. If you do not
speak Japanese and would like to watch the show, there are some transcripts in English available at the Literal Translation Project Homepage. I believe that translations for other languages exists at the homepage too so you might want to check it out also.

You could run down to a store near you that sells anime. Evangelion is rather old so I'm sure you can get a copy.
Alternatively, you could also get the series from Amazon.com. They sell the Evangelion Perfect Collection which was done by A.D. Vision.
If have already watched the show and still feel you have
doubts as to what is going on for the most part of the show then you might want to go look
around at my related links page which showcases some sites that
may clarify your doubts. Please note that these are for people that have already watched
the entire series and may contain spoilers.
I also happen to have some MP3s and If you happen to use Winamp by Nullsoft then you might want to
check out my Winamp Skins page in my multimedia page that
contains one of my skins as well as some others that I have found on the net.
The following link to my image
gallery will have thumbnails to various fan art that I have collected. I do not know all of the artists that have drawn much of these art but for those that I do know (and that's one guy that puts his webpage address on his art) is placed on the related links page so pay them a visit and give them encouragement for what they are doing. Please be patient while I set up the other galleries such as Misato and Shinji, after that I will set up an other's page... I got really good pics of some of the other characters around my harddisk somewhere.
